would you call your doctor?
I was admitted to l &d for monitoring on Friday due to high blood pressure (suspected preeclampsia) and released hours later when it was determined I don't have it and my bps were fine. Today i've had a headache and made dh go buy me a blood pressure cuff. My #s have been about 143/94. This has been going on since 1ish. Would you call your doctor?

Given that you are having headaches as well, it doesn't hurt to call. Are you having edema as well? More than usual? You need to be careful with pre- e, so give a call

No swelling at all, no black spots (I had them last week), no nausea or abdominal pain. Just a headache that is making my eyes feel like they are going to explode. I'm going to take a shower and down some water and try taking it again.

YES! normal blood pressue is 120/80
i suffer from high blood pressure already and take daily medication for it. 143/94 is very high. drinking water really won't help make your blood pressure come down on its own. Headaches are aknown symptom of high blood pressure, though not everyone may suffer from them. Since you were already taken to the ER for possible pre-e, i would give your Dr a call ASAP

Crashing-I would definitely call. That's what I had when I was admitted to the hospital with pre-eclampsia. DS came 9 weeks early because of it. I would just get checked out to be on the safe side
