Straw cup help
I'm trying to transition DS (19 months) over to straw cups for milk. He already takes water from a straw cup, although he never drinks much.
He basically won't drink the milk from the straw cup though. He takes a few sips and then hands me the cup and says no. I'm only doing it for his afternoon milk right now.
I'm wondering if I should try it for all 3 cups of milk he usually gets for consistency? Or just keep offering it once a day so he gets at least some milk in and hope that he eventually starts drinking in the afternoon again?
I feel so clueless with this whole cup thing? Should I be offering a regular open top cup for water yet?

Straw cup help
It took my DD several days before she was fine with it. I put milk in the straw cup every time I offered milk. She eventually just drank it without a problem. I made sure that on the days she wasn't drinking milk I gave her cheese and yogurt etc to supplement.

Straw cup help
My dd will not drink milk from any cup. I asked the ped what I could do because I stopped her bottles. She said as long as she's getting enough dairy per day, not to worry about it. I make sure dd gets enough and offer her milk straw cup 2x/day. If she drinks, great. If not, that's ok too.

Re: Straw cup help
Ds (2.5 yrs old) doesnt like milk from a straw sippy he likes to lounge while he drinks milk and for some reason it always leaks so we use the playtex spout ones for milk everything else goes in the straw sippy.
