It makes me so sad, but DD does not like to be held when having her bottle anymore. She is so wiggly, and just drinks better in her infant seat or in her high chair. I really miss holding her and feeding her! I tried starting her bottle while holding her the other day, and my SIL said that her kids wouldn't let her hold them by this age either. Is that typical? I still try to feed her in the glider at night, then she drinks some more in her crib. My little girl is growing up too fast!

DS never liked being held- he enjoyed the room for moving around. He ate on the boppy or the bouncy chair. I never had a baby whom I could hold for hours on end. I couldn't even carry him facing me because he wanted to see everything! To this day (he's 27 months) he does not like to cuddle.

Yup, DD is not a cuddler either. She just wants to move!

I still hold my dd at 7 months and for the most part, she is content that way... She is just now wanting to hold her bottle herself so maybe that'll change soon... When I hold her, she feels like she's getting too big now which is sad
