Party Favors
I'm trying to think of party favors for DS' birthday party, since we will have kids ages 1 to 6 there. I hate just giving anything in goody bags, so I wanted to do an edible favor like a cookie, but that gets to be expensive... Would it be a bad idea to buy books from the Scholastic book fair at school and give that out, along with a small thing of play dough and maybe a chocolate lollipop? They have some good books, even hard cover ones, for $1.... Just a thought and wanted to see what you as parents thought about a book as a favor. I know I would like that if my DC got that. Thanks!!

Party Favors
I did board books for DD's first birthday for kids up to age 2--- I like the idea of age appropriate books for older kids too!

Re: Party Favors
I did books from scholastic books for ds first birthday. A lot of people thought it was great. For ds nephew and my godson who were older I got them older books.

Re: Party Favors
Thank you everybody. I think I'll do it - just makes it a lot easier than trying to find a favor that matches the theme for girls and boys!
