Formula question

The hospital gave us little bottles of formula that we have been using for the past week. We just finished with them and are ready to start a regular bottle that will need to be stored in the fridge. My question is now that the formula is in the fridge do I need to bring it to room temp to give it to her? She is used to getting it at room temp since the little bottles were indivually sealed.

Thanks for your help

Re: Formula question

yuppers!

We have used warmers but find that runnung hot water into a glass or bowl with the bottle in it a quick way to bring it to a comfortable temp.

Too cold is not good for your baby and too warm/hot ...well you know.

In addition once you warm it up, if your child doesn't finish w/in the hour you can refrigerate it again but can only use 1 more time...I think that is the rule of thumb

good luck

Just wanted to add our ped said cold is fine, there is no reason to warm it.

(although we warm ours, unless we are out then we will give it cold)

I used to warm it in a bowl of hot tap water. Now, she's almost 4 months and will take it cold right from the fridge. She doesn't care if she's hungry!!
