Most of these recalls are from people not using the product correctly. I would look more into it and then make a decision on what to do.

Most of these recalls are from people not using the product correctly. I would look more into it and then make a decision on what to do.

Yeah I agree .. If you use it correctly there isn't a problem .. My friend swore by her nap nanny .. I'm going to keep mine and see how DS likes it ..and use it the correct way.

Letting their babies sleep in the nap nanny without supervision. Using it overnight, not having the nap nanny on a solid surface, many ways to use it incorrectly. The main issue is not watching your baby while they are in it!!!

People are putting it on top of counters and couches where the risk of the baby falling over is greater... I really don't understand why people would do that with their child. It is also these same people that will just walk away from the baby and wonder why they fell over.

I think the issue was similar with those bumbo seats... people were letting their babies sit in them on counter tops or using them to let the baby sit in the bathtub and walking away or on a surface like the couch and wonder why the baby tipped over.

Re: Recall on nap nannies

Many people use it in a crib, you can't do that, the baby can roll off and get pinned by it.

I have a friend that actually does this... I thought it was crazy but it was the only way her LO would sleep.

The best place to use these is on the floor.
