Refinance and STAR exemption?
If you refinance - do you need to reapply for star?

Refinance and STAR exemption?
I don't think so but if anyone knows for sure please post because we refinanced in September and I didn't even think of that.

With a refinance - you get a new mortgage - not a new deed (unless you're adding someone to the deed, etc.).
The only time you need to reapply for a STAR exemption is if the deed changes.
