spinoff: when did your newborn transition to the crib?
i plan on having the baby sleeping in our room at least the first few weeks.
but when did you make the transition to the crib?

I moved ds to his crib at 3 months. I was going back to work at 4 months & I wanted him in his crib before I went back. It took a couple of weeks for him to get used to the crib so I'm glad I did it when I did.

I'm debating this now but I think we'll transition DD on Friday. She'll be 7 weeks. I feel a little sad about moving her but we're ready to have our room back and I feel the longer we wait the tougher the transition will be on her.

spinoff: when did your newborn transition to the crib?
We did it around 2 months. DD was kicking her legs over the low side of the cosleeper, turning sideways in it, and just generally keeping us up with her kicking. I expected her to stay longer, but it made the transition easy to move her early and she enjoyed the extra space.

We did it at three months and we slept so wonderfully from that point onward...

We just did it at 14 weeks! So far ok. She is still swaddled though.

My older DD was 4 months and my little one is 10 weeks and still in our room. Not sure when we'll be moving her.

DD is aobut 2.5 months. We've been thinking about putting her in her own crib and room. For now she sleeps pretty well in the RNP and I'[m just not sure I'm ready for her to be out of our room. It's so easy for the night time feedings.

About 8 weeks. DD was a loud sleeper and I couldn't stay asleep with her grunts and whines!

My girls are 2 mo (10 weeks tomorrow). I plan to have them nap in the crib til 3 mo the switch them.

LOL this sounds like B. I have the sound machine so idk if it helps her not grunt so much or me to not be bothered by the grunts or maybe she just doesnt grunt as much anymore lol

It was almost 4 months but DS' room was all the way at the other end of our apt. so I was worried about him being so far. Otherwise we would have done it sooner
