Nashville
So we are starting to think about our summer vacation. Last year we went to Ogonquit, ME and had an awesome week. We were considering going back this coming August. My cousin lives in Nashville, her DH was relocated there 8 months ago. She is due with her first child in July, and she would like us to come see them this summer. DS # 1 will be 2 and DS # 2 will be 4 months. We would drive, stay overnight at the halfway point. My question is, is there anything to even do in that area with kids? Nice hotels? We wouldn't stay with my cousin, there are 4 of us and she will have her hands full with a 2-3 week old baby at that point. But I don't want us to be bored. Anyone ever been? TIA!

Re: Nashville
nashville is a great town. there is opryland, river paddle wheel cruises, shopping, and lots of fun places to eat! there is a whole downtown area that has great music at night too.

Re: Nashville
Love Nashville. Lived there for ages 5 to 10 growing up. It is a city with lots of things to do. I would google family things to do or things to do with kids. There is a childrens science musem for one. Aside from tons of sightseeing things there are always places like chuckie cheese, a drive but not too far is dollyland amusement park. You should find plenty of things to do. It really is a great city. Also there are places like cheekwood gardens, The Hermitage - Andrew Jackson's home, Opryland, etc. I would love to move back.

I LOVE nashville.
My friends and I stayed at the Maxwell House hotel and it was inexpensive and one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in - and of course Maxwell coffee every morning lol
