First of all...I was not on the boards that much after the very beginning of my pregnancy due to the fact that I was dealing with hyperpemesis gravidarum (extreme all day morning sickness) which I had for about 5 months which also was coupled with peri-natal depression (pregnancy depression as opposed to ppd) which I haven't spoken on here about but plan to more (because I feel very strongly about getting the word out on both of these issues that I went through),
In any case, needless to say it was an extremely rough pregnancy for me, however I truly feel stronger for having gone through it all and now I am here- I really though I would not make it some days at all. I always try and see the silver lining in things and I've definately learned many life lessons from going through this pregnancy as it was.
Okay, on to good things...I go in for a c-section tomorrow at Good Sam. I am nervous but you girls helped me to calm down plus this angel at my doctors (Dr. Antoniadis) office who stayed on the phone with me yesterday for over a half an hour calming me down- I will forever be grateful to her and make sure to do something to show her.
I am getting very excited but still in disbelief and am very emotional. I can't believe I am going to be a mommy and my dh, a daddy.

Good luck. Sorry you had such a rough pregnancy, but I promise the minute you hold that baby in your arms you will see that it was all worth it.

I'm sorry to hear you were having a rough time but thank you for sharing. I think it's something many people don't talk about and I'm sure you've helped people by putting it out there.
Good luck with your section, I'm sure it will be over and you'll be holding DD before you know it. This is such an exciting time!

Oh.....When I responded yesterday about a csection at Good Sam I didn't realize you were with Dr A.
Do not stress at all. He is the absolute best. I give him all the credit in the world for my amazing csection recovery. I have a great scar....perfect placement and healed great. He will make you laugh the entire time and keep your mind off of all the things that are worryign you!
Good Luck and just know you are in the absolute best hands.
