Is putting honey in my tea ok?
I know they say not to eat honey, but I thought since it is hot?

I have never heard that it's not safe to eat honey during pregnancy. I know babies can't be fed honey, but I never heard anything about pregnant moms.

Its not safe for an infant to have honey because their stomachs cant process it or something like that... but its fine to have during pregnancy...

Honey is totally fine when you are pregnant. You can't give honey to a baby under a 1 yr because it has botulism in it and they can't process it before a year.

We can have it; just can't give it to babies. However I have limited myself this pregnancy. I used to have a cup of lemon tea w/honey every day. Now it's maybe 1x per week if that.

I was putting honey in my tea when I was sick two weeks ago and someone made a comment to me that it wasnt safe for pregnant women to have honey .. but I never heard that till now so I dont know what to think either?!?
