anyone's jaw ever hurt when you chew
lately when I chew my jaw has been achey/cracking.. maybe its just TMJ but its been bothering me and wondering if it has anything to do with pregnancy.. Its prob just something else but just curious:)

Me...it started popping and cracking when I chew about a week ago. I don't remember having this problem in my last pregnancy. I also have TMJ and thought it might be related.

My jaw has been hurting when I wake up from sleeping. I noticed I've been kind of sticking it out, I think I am having trouble breathing and that is the way my body tries to compensate.
I am blaming it on the pregnancy. Maybe you are sleeping funny and notice the pain when you chew?

I don't know this for a fact, but my guess is the hormone that causes your joints to relax also affect your jaw joints - since hormones can't tell a hip from a jaw from a finger. So that will cause some pain, clicking, etc, that mimics TMJ. If you grind or clench your teeth at night, this will exacerbate it. It should go away after you deliver.
