For those who were/are Team Green
When you went for your sonos, did the tech ever ask you to look away from the screen to check in between the legs.
I KNOW im really reaching here and overanalyzing, but when we went for our level 2, she said "if you dont want to know, you need to close your eyes while I check the genitals" so now im thinking, if it were a girl she wouldn't have to ask us. only if something was obviously "hanging" around would she think we would notice something.
I know, i know, im crazy.

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
at the 20 week scan they did tell us to look away while they check that area...i think its common. they want to make sure everything looks good...and she may have even been looking at the thigh bone or hip but wanted to be safe by telling us to look away. i didnt think anything of it actually
my next sono was at 32 weeks and we told the technician we didnt want to know and he said dont worry the baby has its legs crossed so even if you wanted to know i cant tell you

I wouldn't read into it at all - we had our level 2 last night and before we told her if we wanted to know or not she called the baby a him. Then we asked her to tell us the sex and it is a girl.

you are overthinking if you know what you are looking for, its usually obvious at 20 weeks for both.

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
Yes, both times with a DS and DD they checked and we were told to look away. They check whether it's a boy or a girl.
And try not to read anything into it, bc with DD when I went in for an appt, the nurse said, 'oh you're having another boy?" I was like, um, we haven't found out...and she covered up her statement. But we had a girl, so she didn't give us any info.

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
We went yesterday, and they never told us to look away. DH had no idea what he was looking at the whole time anyway.
I did try to peek to find something, and *think* it's a girl, but still, I really have no clue.

She would have told you to look away even if it was a girl... You might just as easily notice something "not hanging" as you would notice something "hanging."

Never been team green for a sono, but I could see my girls were girls when I looked. The three lines can be very evident.

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
I was team green 3x and was never told to look away. I do remember with my 1st I looked and saw "something." Well, I had in that order. So much for that.

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
When I look back, I remember my doctor being able to find "something" too quickly and would say "we're not finding out right?" I had a so now it all makes sense! Don't look to into it though. Enjoy not knowing. We're team this time around too!

Re: For those who were/are Team Green
I wouldn't take this to mean the baby is either gender. Something NOT being there is just as telling as something dangling. Also, going on your theory, how would the tech know what they're going to see before they look there to warn you anyway? I really don't think the tech gave anything away.
