Question bout my twins....

I am sorry his this is a dumb question....

My twins will be 3 weeks on Monday....

Should I be doing things with them? They basically sleep most of the day, starting to become more alert but not sure if I should be starting anything with them and if not when do I start, for example tummy time

Also, bit of a spinoff,my son is more awake than my daughter, she sleeps a lot lol..few have seen her eyes lol

Past 2 nights around her 3 am feeding she stays up with me,not crying just hanging out, smiling

Does she have her days and nights confused? Should I try everything to get her to go back to sleep ASAP and then wake her better during day or am I looking way into this at 3weeks lol

Thanks so much

Question bout my twins....

You can absolutely start tummy now. They will most likely hate it so even if you get them to lay there for a minute, that's good. Work your way up each day with the tummy time.

Most likely Madison does have her days and nights mixed up. Try getting her to go right back to sleep after that feeding and stimulate her more during the day. The tummy time will help with the day stimulation too!

BTW...I just want to squeeze their cheeks!

All of this! I would make sure to keep her up as much as possible before bed time. With my twins, if it was day time, we had the lights on, talked in full voices, etc. If it was night time and a time that we would want them sleeping in the future, we kept everything dark and quiet. No talking to each other or them.

This

Adriana hated tummy time, not so much know since she can sit up and roll over ( i just made her sound like a dog.lol) I started really early. A few times a day for short periods of time. I also read to her alot starting from day one when she was awake. Now I read to her every night before bed. She never makes it to the end. Matthew says its because my voice comforts her.

Your DD sounds like she has it backwards. Try to stimulate her more during the day. At night try to feed her in a very low lit room and don't make eye contact. Sounds harsh but it works.
