Boot drama doesn't end!
So..after a wild goose chase, I find Frye boots that I love..but ONE of my calves is too large and it's a zipper boot..alas, my search goes on...I am moving onto J Crew..I know some ladies raved about them...I am looking at Booker or Harper for a classic boot..not so into buckles because I feel like that style goes in and out and classic is..classic...any feedback would help..am going to maybe order both and return one since it's 25% off tonight..thanks!

The zipper isn't too gold tone? That's the only thing holding me back..maybe I'll order both and definitely return one..LOL..I feel like I've been playing boot games for weeks!! I have become so anti-stores and now with the holidays, it's worse!

I don't like the first one, but the Harper is really nice!
MK makes a similar boot too..the back is all elastic, front is all leather. Sounds not nice, but they are awesome. Just a thought if those don't work out.

Well, it is definitely gold, but that is what I like about them! The zipper detail is beautiful.
I actually want to order them, but I have been hung up on the Melissa Button Frye for a long time and there is no way DH would let me get both...

Don't talk to me about fryes lol I had those and the Melissa with the zipper..the button ones fit but were baggy which is what I'm trying to avoid...the zipper ones didn't fit one leg and have to go back so now I'm still on the hunt! I've seen the button ones on sale all over so check zappos etc..good luck!

Lol! What about getting the Melissa with the zipper stretched by a cobbler? A lot of people have done that. Or wear it with a legwarmer for awhile to stretch it out?
Good luck to you too! Who knew there could be this much research involved with a pair of boots! LOL!

I couldn't get the zipper up with nothing on my legs so leg warmers are out..they are on their way back to amazon and I hope to find something!
