Tree cutting/removal
I live in an inc. village in Nassau ... just wondering if you can get the village to go on your property and remove your tree ... this is not for me but a neighbor ? I noticed having this done.

Was the tree on the area between the sidewalk and street? That is technically town/village property.

No, clearly on their property/ front lawn. Turns out the neighbor is dating a village cop.

Re: Tree cutting/removal
If you don't have sidewalks in your area a tree on the front lawn might be considered town property. Our tree on the front lawn died and the town removed it - since it was there tree - It took a long time for the tree to be removed (over a year) and we are still waiting for the stump to come out
