Bradley Method Class?
So I was interested in taking a Bradley Method class and was wondering if anyone else has?
I think I may take it in January but I will only be 5 months since the next class wouldnt be until April when I would be 8 months.

Bradley Method Class?
My SIL took the classes in a condensed version in her house. She enjoyed them I think....even though most of it went out of the window during her actual labor and birth. She had a really long and intense and stressful labor and birth...but the classes themselves she said she liked.

Re: Bradley Method Class?
How long is the class? I took a bradley class with my son - I think it started in January and ended mid-February. I gave birth at the end of March. In retrospect, I wish I had waited for the later class - the information wasn't as fresh in my mind by the time I gave birth. Not a huge deal, but something to think about. The issues are more real the closer you get to that 40-week marker... And - I loved, loved, loved the class! I ended up with an emergency c-section, but I'm still very happy I decided to take the class - it helped guide many of my decisions and allowed me to be more educated about the birthing process and the obstacles birthing moms face in a hospital setting.

Re: Bradley Method Class?
I took the Bradley class and had an unmedicated birth at the end of May. The class was 12 weeks and because it was so long they only offered a few times a year. I was 21 weeks when I started the class and around 33 when I finished it. I found it to be extremely helpful for me but especially in educating my husband (the person who will likely be your biggest advocate during your birth). Feel free to FM me with any questions you might have about the class or my birth experience. Good luck and congratulations!
