Need an oil company rec
The house we just bought has oil heat and they got a delivery in November. They didn't haw a contract with the company they used. Who should I call? How often do I get oil delivery? They also service the boiler correct? How often?

We have OSI. DH loves them. They service once a year. We are on balanced billing and have never run out of oil.

We have used:
Slomins
Petro
Meenan
All provide competitive rates, but you have to call each of them, get their rates and then bargain with the company you want to hire for the year. They each offer service contracts as well.
The other option if COD, but be aware that they may not offer service on the boiler. Some do, just not sure which ones and you are at the mercy of the current market price.

For the past 7 years we have used Petro and I am very happy with them. We have a contract for our boiler and whenever there is a problem they come right away and we have never had to pay for any repairs. Plus they give you one free cleaning per year.
We are on automatic delivery so I don't really know how often they deliver.
