Clomid and its effects on AF
Question for those who have taken Clomid and done timed intercourse. Did your AF come late and you didn't have a BFP?? I am due either today or tomorrow and I am trying not to get my hopes up figuring I will be late since its my first time on Clomid. Thoughts? Thanks Ladies!

I took clomid for IUIs and it did not affect AF at all. It's possible that it will extend your LP, though, by a day or 2. Many people take it for that.

it depends when you ovulated. were you monitored? clomid wont really effect your LP but you may have ovulated earlier/later than normal.

Yes I was. I ovulated the same time as last month when I wasn't on it. My fingers are crossed I don't wake up with AF tomorrow!

I went to my RE and got a sono and blood. I def ovulated so that is good. Should hear back today so say a prayer and send us some baby dust!!!! Thanks ladies!!
BFN and apparently my prog is low. Not sure what that means. If I don't get AF by Tues I have to call them.

If you have low progesterone, you should have them check your progesterone levels a few days after ovulation. If it's too low, they can start you on supplements to increase it enough that you'd be able to sustain a pregnancy.

My levels are fine. I get checked constantly by them. They said low progesterone at that point in my cycle meant AF was coming.

Well, yes. Your progesterone has to drop for AF to come.

Hoping this month is our month. I go back tomorrow and find out if we start IUI this month or try the timed intercourse way again. If my calculations are correct we could possibly conceive Christmas!
