I failed
my 1 hr glucose test by 7 points. I guess thats what I get for doing the test the day after Thanksgiving!
I am scheduled for the 3 hr test this Monday.
Is there anything I need to know besides having to fast?

I failed
just bring things with you to do during the 3-hour, it's long and boring. If you failed the 1 hour by 7 points you will most likely pass the 3-hour with flying colors. This happened to me with my first pregnancy, I'm still waiting for results from my one hour this time around, I'm crossing my fingers but dreading the 3-hour, mostly bc it's sooooo boring to sit there.

7 points is nothing. You will prob pass the 3 hr. Just bring a book or something - they will draw blood several times (every hour)

I failed my 1 hour last weekend and just finished my 3 hour yesterday. Not gonna lie it sucks ! Bring lots to do

I just took the 3 hour on Friday.
It's a very long time to sit and wait. I brought my iPad and watched a movie, and then played games on my iphone.
I dressed as comfortable as possible, since I knew I'd be sitting in the waiting room the whole time.
I was wiped out after. Dehydrated, achey and I had a bad headache. I treated myself to Cold Stone Creamery right after, and then went home to lay down and have lunch.
Try to make your appt as early as possible, since the fasting with no water sucks!!
