newborn shirt
nevermind - found them
A friend mentioned that it is best to have a newborn come home in a shirt under their outfit instead of a onsie, so that the umbilical cord doesnt get irritated.
does anyone know if the hospital will provide you with these? if not, can you help me find them online, i would love to add a pack to my registry (buy buy baby or babies r us)

They are side snap shirts..regular onesies can catch the umbilical cord and irritate it. This is what most hospitals put on the babies...I would also buy a pack to have at home...but don't go to crazy, bc you only need to use them for a short time
