My DD is 8 months old and I picked up some new baby food. It is the organic pouches. One of the ingredients is kiwi and I wasn't sure she could have that yet. Also it has spinach in it as well. Can I try it or is it too soon for kiwi and spinach?

DS is going to be 9 months sunday (7 months adjusted) He's had the spinach before. I haven't tried the kiwi yet, but I did just buy a blend with it in there. I'll probably be trying him with that in a few weeks. I just make sure that when I try a blend if its a 3 fruit blend that he's had at least 2 of the fruits in it before i try him with it. That way if there is a reaction I know its the 3rd fruit. HTH

Both ingredients are fine for 8 months. Just make sure she has only 1 new thing at a time.

Thanks so much! She has had the other ingredients in both foods so I will know it is the kiwi if she has a reaction.
