Hitting
My DD is 16 months old and has started hitting other children. I am so embarrassed when this happens. I pull her aside and tell her no we do not hit, we do nice, then I rub her arm to show her nice and sometimes tell her to give the other child a hug.
How else do I curb this? In mommy & me the other day I think all 11 kids got a whack in the head, I was mortified.
Help!!

It's definitely embarrasing but it's pretty normal at a certain age.
Just keep doing what you are doing- eventually they get it - or grow out of it.
