Just can't shake the anxiety
I will be 14 weeks tomorrow. We last saw the doctor the day before thanksgiving and everything was perfect. We go again next wed. Logically I know everything is fine, but I totally let my anxiety get the better of me. I'm up in the middle of the night googling miscarriages and having dreams that I'm bleeding. This is my first pregnancy, no history of miscarriages. I just can't get it out of my mind!

Just can't shake the anxiety
Totally normal. Every time I feel a pinch or a sharp pain, I panic. I'm 10 weeks and had an early miscarriage back in August. I feel totally different then the last pregnancy and am 6 weeks past that point but still get terrible feelings. It's hard but I think maybe when we start feeling the baby move or when we see the belly it might be different. Good luck and try to enjoy it!

Re: Just can't shake the anxiety
It's totally normal to feel that way. And I have to admit, the anxiety never really goes away. I'm 37.5 weeks, have had a very normal pregnancy, but still worry about LO.
I can't even imagine what I'll feel like when she's actually out in the world, and not protected in my stomach!

Just can't shake the anxiety
Its normal. It took me 2 years to get PG so I was a mess cause I just didn't think I could go through anymore. I worried everyday and right up to the delivery. Hell I still worry and my DS is almost a year old.
All I can say is it gets better. Once you can feel them move it helps. Each day you worry less and less.

Totally agree with this. This LO is a night owl and late sleeper so at 28.5weeks I still get worried every day until I feel him move for the first time around 11-12. Once I do I am fine the rest of the day but I'm definitely not as bad as I was in the beginning.

I agree with this too! The anxiety lessend once I could feel LO move. At 33w5d I still get nervous sometimes if I don't feel movement; and look for his/her kicks as reassurance everything is ok!
