Just got back from the doctor
I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. They are monitoring me very closely because I had an ectopic pregnancy in early October, had surgery to remove it (along with my left fallopian tube). Lo and behold, I'm pg again and we got to see that the pregnancy is indeed in my uterus, even saw the teeniest flicker of a heartbeat!!
Praying that all goes ok and next week we'll see a nice strong heartbeat. So happy to be back on this board!!!

WoW you saw the heartbeat already! That is so exciting ! I go for a sono tomorrow and will be 5wk4days and would love to see a heartbeat but am not sure I'll get that lucky.

The sono tech saw it...she enlarged the screen and tried to show me, I couldn't see much, lol. It was the teeniest flicker and about 80 beats/min which she said was fine for this early. don't get worried if you don't see it though, she was very surprised to have seen it!! My dates may be a few days off, not sure...but I always have a pretty regular cycle. good luck to you!!!
