found this great dark teal velvet blazer for holidays but need a blouse for under
it. A tank or short sleeve preferably. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time finding something. But I keep bringing home shirts and nothing looks right. Any suggestions? with pics or links would be great! Has to be an XL, 16 or maybe plus (1x)

Do you have a picture? If it's the color I'm visioning....I'd think a gold sequin, or maybr even something jewel toned like navy or plum

Old Navy has these great sequin tanks. I saw them in the store and they were really nice for how inexpensive they were.
They have some in their plus section online too!

I wanted to buy some but still haven't found that perfect blazer!
I saw those! ordered the ivory one with the stripes but don't think the solids will be the right shade. It is definitely a jewel tone kind of color.

I don't have a picture. i tried the website but ironically the color I bought itsn't there. This is the blazer. I will try to snap a pic with my phone.

I love the jacket and I think you helped me decide on my outfit for some parties I have coming up
I would do maybe a black sequin tank or Target had a really cute tank that had pialetes (spelling) sewn in rows so in a campaign color.
Ideally thought, I think a dark color would look better. That color is going to look great on you.

Thanks Adrianna. I love the color so much that so far black or plain silver shirts just don't seem to do it justice. I'm thinking maybe if I found a solid colored jewel tone like purple that would be a nice compliment to it?

Very pretty! I'm loving sequins this year, but a satin top would work nice with velvet too. Do you plan to wear it closed, so don't need to worry around sleeves?
I just bought a great sequin tank in a deep plum, (came in other colors too) but I'm in NC & I don't think there is a Stein Mart on LI yet?
