My dr. said they need to be well... since they have the most amount of bacteria bc they have a lot of surface area.

Steak on the other hand can be med. rare...

That's how I eat them, and I haven't had any issues. I don't have beef burgers that often though (pregnant or not)

I always eat them med or med well.......never had a problem. I couldn't stomach a well done burger, it's like eating a dry hockey puck. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I didn't eat too many hamburgers, but the ones that I did eat were medium.

As long as it's not still pink inside you're fine. I once sent my burger back b/c it came back pink and the waitress argued with me, even after I told her I was pregnant and wanted my burger cooked more thoroughly. Chat Icon Always better to be safe though.

I haven't had many but craved a few in the beginning and had those medium well, I had a burger the other night and just ordered it medium. Eating a burger well done is like chewing on a hockey puck.

I am lucky in that I can only eat a burger if it's well done lol. The pink completely grosses me out!

Lol I know but blek! Never ordered them that way ever!gets stuck in my throat if its that dry!



Update! Sucked it up and ordered it well...didn't love the flavor but the ketchup and cheese helped to make it not choke me

LOL it doesnt have to be a hockey puck, but it should be cooked all the way through. Bubba Burgers are really good they never dry out.

That's all we eat at home and they are already cooked in a way that doesn't bother me lol but when we go out I usually can't
