Dresser converted to changing table
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can convert a dresser to a changing table without purchasing the station/kit.
TIA

Re: Dresser converted to changing table
Can't you just get the changing pad/mattress thingy and put it on the top of the dresser?
I'm not getting a separate changing table, and that's what I was planning on doing.

Re: Dresser converted to changing table
We bought a dresser/changing table combo and all it came with were snaps to add to the dresser. I wonder if you could just buy the hardware to convert it and make sure to buy a changing table pad made for the combo set.

Dresser converted to changing table
I just got a changing pad and it had two straps to attach to the back of the dresser. It is wobbly on the dresser but it wont slide off. And you would never leave your baby unattended on there anyway.

Re: Dresser converted to changing table
THanks gals. THe problem is I have my 16 month old on it now and the pad itself is slipping and sliding all over the dresser, I'm going to screw something down somehow!

Re: Dresser converted to changing table
I use a non-slip rug pad under my changing pad and it's been working great so far.
DD is 6 months and not so wiggly though.

Dresser converted to changing table
I plan on using a dresser top with a changing mattress pad as a changing table this time . I am thinking about using velcro strips to keep the changing pad in place.
