Girls with long Curly Hair.
I am attempting to grow out DD's hair. She is 2 and has had short curly hair since 10 months old (it was straight prior to 10 mos.)
For those DD who have long curly hair is it hard to manage? is it always knotty? what products do you use?
Thanks!

Re: Girls with long Curly Hair.
DD is 2 and has always had curly hair. It's actually close to the middle of her back at its longest, but it's deceiving because it's curly and seems shorter.
For her, once I comb it after she bathes I don't really comb it again because it gets frizzy and knots even more and looks terrible. I also had to experiment with shampoos because I found many to be drying to her hair and made it frizz and unmangeable.
I use Ouidad KRLY for Kids - both shampoo and conditioner - and it's been fabulous. Her hair has been so soft and mangeable and shiny and the curls look fantastic since using it. The conditioner can be used as a leave-in or you can wash it out, but I usually use it as a leave-in. For those touch-ups, I simply spray on some J&J detangling spray and quickly comb through and scrunch and finger style.

Ditto. We use the Ouidad products and we LOVE them. We also use their spray gel - it is totally weightless and keeps the curls looking great all day.

Girls with long Curly Hair.
We use a leave in conditioner. I bought it at the local health food store. It's all natural and smells like coconuts. She loves it. We put it on after bath, every morning, and every night and brush with a big paddle brush. When I want her curls to be big and bouncy I also use the Quidad products. I like the spray gel since Em is already used to her spray.
