Base Layers
Recommend your favorite base layers. I need some new ones and I was wondering what others wear. I need mid- weight tops and bottoms and no wool- I have developed an allergy and it is not pretty!

Base Layers
Am I the only one who goes outside during the cold weather? I was hoping for a few opinions.

Do you mean Cuddle Dud's? I love them. They have them at Kohls and Target. They are base layers that are nice enought to wear out in public.

Hot Chilis for sure. I have the same pair since high school, lol. I also like Smart Wool, but that has wool, so its out.

i wasn't sure what base layers were either..
during the winter i'll dress in layers, but it's usually a cami and cardigan/sweater, and then i wear a scarf and winter jacket when i'm outside..but i avoid spending any lengthy period of time outside during the winter

Yes, they are similar to long underwear but more fitted and they are intended for out door activities so the fabric is designed to wick away sweat so you do not get cold.

I try to avoid being outdoors in the winter as much as possible but my dog NEEDS the exercise so I am forced to dress accordingly.

I dont' wear this kind of stuff but I see something at Kohl's all the time called Cuddl Duds and it looks pretty cool.
