Christmas Village
Where do you display your Christmas village? My husband inherited his grandfather's prized village with 20+ houses, an ice rink, and a million other accessories and we would love to put it up this year.

In years past I used to put it on top of my entertainment center. I use the empty boxes to create hills so the houses were all visible.
Then I had my son...
No I empty my china closet and put them there. The only thing I don't like about them in there is that I can't use the lights for the houses.
My in laws set up a seperate table in the corner for theirs.

DH and I have ours on our built in's in the living room. There is an outlet in the lower cabinet so we run the wires through a hole to light it up.

We have built-in bookcases in our living room, so we start at one end, over the fireplace mantle, and onto the other built-in. DS is only 2, so this year and last, I will not put the wires in the houses. Still looks super cute without it.

My DH made me table for it. Very short on room so it actually goes in between the kichen/LR. (open floor plan). I didn't put it up when Liam was young but, I did last year and will do it again this year. Eventually.
