Canned clams
Does anyone know if chopped clams in juice (canned) are safe to eat. My family makes clam sauce for Xmas and then a baked clam dip with them. Xmas dinner is going to be hard for me because its all fish and I only like some of them.

Re: Canned clams
Perhaps a great excuse to bring a tray of something else? Baked ziti or something maybe?

Re: Canned clams
I know fresh clams are ok in moderation if they are cooked correctly but I can't find anything about the canned ones

Re: Canned clams
In order to make clam sauce you cook what is in the cans. So the clams are not raw, plus im pretty sure they are cooked prior to being canned
I make i at home and Ive been eating it (but im also super picky and love the taste but dont eat the clam pieces lol)
