If its going to be your out one then is wait. I had one at 17 weeks and then they flipped the switch at my anatomy scan at 20 weeks. You saw the detail of the baby but they still have a little ways to grow.

You should wait until 30 weeks ideally. At the point where you are, the baby hasn't started to put on fat yet, so s/he'll change dramatically still.

I had mine done at 29 weeks. I am happy I did it when I did cause the baby flipped at 30 weeks and we were not able to get a good view of his face after that. I think the ideal time is between 28 and 30 weeks.

ita..we had one at 30 and she said even that was early but she did it anyway..then again at 32 and the diff was amazing
