Never wake a sleeping baby?
DD always has 5 bottles a day. Her last one at 8:00 is usually more oz than others. Well she fell asleep around 6:45 and didn't get up from the nap and seems to be sleeping for the night now. I tried making some noise and she rubbed her eyes and rolled back over. She left 1oz at daycare and 2 oz for DH this morning. Am I doing the right thing by not waking her? I know her schedule is going to be all messed up now. I'm just concerned about her getting enough for the day though.  She's 8 months on Saturday.

She's fine. They go through days where they drink more or drink less. If she's hungry for it, she'll let you know in the middle of the night, don't worry!

I agree that she's fine. If she were much younger I might say differently but at 8 months you shouldn't worry about it. FWIW my DD was having 3 bottles/day at that age. Relax and get some sleep!

Thanks girls. She's not eating solids yet because she refuses so her bottle is all she really gets. She's been on such a schedule that I guess I'm just majorly thrown off by this. Thanks for easing my mind!

So she slept straight through the night and woke up at her usual 8:30. Crazy! Growth spurt maybe?

Wow, that's awesome! Yes could be a growth spurt. Glad she didn't wake you up in the middle of the night. Maybe she's just adjusting her schedule!

I agree she is fine. Unless she is underweight, i would never wake them for food.
