vineyards (besdies LI)
Looking for wineries and trying to rent a cabin/house for the weekend for a bachelorette party somewhere in NJ or PA. Any recommendations??

there are a few wineries in cape may. i have no idea if they sustained a lot of damage from sandy but we had a great mini vaca there last summer.

Cape May has a few wineries and I hope they didn't sustain much damage.
The one I liked the most is Turdo Vineyards.

We stayed at the Woolverton Inn (a beautiful B&B recommended to us by the lovely ladies here) and it is in New Hope, PA -- to our surprise, and delight, the area had gorgeous vineyards with delicious wines. We had no idea! it was a great getaway. The Inn was phenomenal. We definitely want to go back.
When we went to Mystic, CT we stayed at The Whalers Inn - another great Inn, so nice. Again, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of area vineyards that we toured - great tasting wine, beautiful scenery. It is just a ferry ride away from Orient - once we drove out East, took the ferry, and landed in CT it was only a 10-15 minute drive to The Whalers Inn right in the heart of Mystic. I recommend, if you do go, eating at the S&P Oyster Co. Delicious!
