Did you call the dr right after your BFP?

I just got my BFP yesterday. I had a chemical in June so I am super nervous, but excited.

Should I call the dr right away? Or should I just wait a few days to be sure? I'm not sure if there's anything extra they'd do since I've had a chemical. Or if it's all the same procedure. I'm just seeing an ob/gyn, not a specialist.

I called my dr to schedule my first appointment, they don't want to see anyone until 8 weeks though. I think because it's so early, they won't see anything until after 6 weeks at least.

I called when I found out (which was about 5 w and change) and they put me in for an appt at roughly 8w.

Yes I called mine the day I got BFP (and it was before AF was due). They don't see you until around 8wks. My first appointment is Tues 11/20.

I called right away, but they usually give you an appointment around 8-9 weeks.

I think if there were fertility issues in the past they may see you sooner.

For me I called when I got my bfp after AF was a few days late and they got me in right around 8 weeks.

I called right away with both of them. I had a missed miscarriage 3 years ago and that was hard b/c they couldn't tell right away at 5 weeks. So I waited for 7 weeks with my DS and now I'm waiting until 6.5 weeks. It was just worked with my schedule.

I got my positive on a saturday so I called that monday to schedule appt which they wouldnt see me until a 6 weeks..Congrats!! soo exciting!

I got my bfp this morning and called a 10min ago which I'm glad I did because they had a hard time fitting me in during a time I was free. Appt is dec 18 so a lil more than 8 weeks

I got my BFP on a Saturday and called my OB that Monday morning. They wouldn't see me before 8 weeks; so I scheduled my 1st appointment accordingly. But i ended up spotting at 6 weeks and they brought me in for an u/s just to make sure everything was ok.

I called about a weel after my bfp and they gave me an appointment for my 8th week. I can't wait to have a u/s and see! I go on the 29th.

Called right away but they aren't meeting me until 12/5 which is about 8 1/2 weeks

They took me right in with the NP. Just did blood pressure, p/t, and tested for std's (never heard of this but said it was routine). Made an appointment for internal sono at 6.5 weeks because I was having some pain in my left ovary and wanted to make sure it wasn't ectopic.

I called right away so they could do bloodwork to keep an eye on my progesterone levels (and make sure my betas were rising normally)

Personally, if you had a chemical, I would call to have blood drawn a few times to make sure all is okay.

I did because I had 2 miscarriages. They had me come in right away and I had u/s weekly until they saw a HB. Since you had a loss, I would call for peace of mind! Good luck and CONGRATS!

Got an appt for Dec 18. They said they didn't need to see me any earlier b/c of the chemical...

I might lose my mind before then. It feels so far away.
