freezing breastmilk
Can you freeze BM in the medela bottles that come with the pump or does it have to be in the plastic bags you buy from BRU?

Yup, bottles are fine! A lot of people just use the bags because they store flat, so they save space.

In the nicu they gave us the small 80ml medela bottles to freeze in. I'm not sure what came with your pump. I don't think the 5oz bottle are made of the same grade plastic that the smaller ones are made of. I have only ever frozen milk in the small bottles or the bags. I have lots of the small bottles if you need them. They are clean and would just need to be sterilized.
