LeapPad 2
So DD who is 3.5 saw this and added it to her Xmas list claiming that she was getting her "own IPad"....looking for reviews. I am willing to buy it for her, just want to make sure it will be a worthwhile purchase. TIA!

I heard good things so I bought the Disney bundle for my DD as her Xmas gift.

LeapPad 2
I wanted to buy for my 3 year old and people have told me she would probably be too young for it. Then I mentioned buying it for my 6 year niece and people told me she might be to old for it... lol. Can anyone who has them give opinions?

We bought it for my DD right before she turned 4 last year. She loved it. DS who is 2 uses it now and has no problem navigating it so I think it shouldn't be a problem for your 3 year old.

Thank you! Do you think it is too "young" for a 5 (almost 6) year old?

Re: LeapPad 2
My kids are 5 and 3, they both got leap pads last year for hanukkah when they were 2 and 4 and both still use them. I am very happy with the purchase. I am not sure I would get it for a 6 closer to 7 year old. I would get it for a 5 year old or young 6 year old. Also there are now a lot of apps for the 3 year old that have recently come out. We have the original one and it is fine. If you want to save a little you could get that one, or the new one. I have heard great things about the new one too.

Re: LeapPad 2
My DD is 2.5 and she has the LeapPad. Has been using it for months. She LOVES it and is able to navigate through a lot of it. Of course, I buy her the more "age appropriate" games and download music videos which she loves. I think it's great.
