We bought a vanity from Lowes with a granite top. It says to seal the granite. I also read reviews of this piece online and most said you should seal it. It is a tan with light brown specs in it. I feel like the vanity top is now like a like brownish in certain areas after I sealed it. Has this happened to anyone?

Yes, its from water. We did use a granite stain remover that you leave on for 24 hrs (like a paste) which helped a little bit. Just make sure you wipe any water that's on the counter.

Thanks. I meant that after I sealed my granite with sealer, I noticed a darker color in certain areas.

Did you use a regular sealer or a sealer with an enhancer in it. If you used it with an enhancer then it does make it a little darker. A regular sealer will look like it did before you sealed it.

Geez...I didn't even know there were different kinds. Will it say on the bottle? I just looked at the bottle and it doesn't say anything about it having an enhancer.
