What will I see at my first sono?
I'll be 8w 4d pregnant.
I am so nervous! Since this is unexpected I feel completely unprepared and uneducated.

What will I see at my first sono?
Heartbeat sac it doesn't look like much ours looked like a shark. It was a strange view but so cool. Good luck. Enjoy it

By 8wk4d it should look like more than just a heartbeat in a sac (I disagree with the PP), you should see a little gummie bear forming. Good luck!

My first sono was a little after yours, at 9w2d. But agree that it will look like a little gummy bear. I have a pic in my album. Good luck!

around 8w you might see a blob with a heartbeat or you might see arm and leg buds - it really depends how spot on your dating is. but you should absolutely see a heartbeat by then if your date is in the vicinity of correct.

I think a gummy bear is a much better way of putting it! I kept saying it looked like a turtle with a heartbeat

i had a sono at 8w4d and it actually looks like a baby! i was able to see the head, arm and leg nubs, heartbeat, yolk sac

just for reference i looked up my old ones
this was 8w - mostly a blob with some slight leg and arm buds
this one from 9w and i remember it looked a lot like tweety bird
