Spotting after first Ultrasound
I had my first internal 2 days ago. Last night I had some dark brown spotting and now its started again this morning and is now more light brown. I also have cramping, but had that before the u/s too. Just want to know if this is normal, I'm getting myself worried of course. I already put a call into the Dr, just waiting for a call back.

brown spotting can be common during the first trimester. i had it from weeks 7-9 and DD is now almost 18m old. as long as its not accompanied by period-like cramping or red blood I wouldn't worry too much.

Re: Spotting after first Ultrasound
Its only brown, no red, but I do have cramping, not as strong as period cramps though.

Brown spotting and light cramping is common in the 1st tri. See what your doctor says but in the mean time just take it easy and drink more water (the pregnancy cure-all)

Thanks for your responses. I finally heard back from the doctor's office and they said all of the same things. It just put me at ease.
