BTDT post natal belt or girdle
I decided I'd like to try a post natal belt (ex. the belly bandit) or maybe just try a girdle. Is one better than the other? Any brands in particular I should shop around for? Any recommendations?? Thanks!

i'm sorry, no advice, but have seen a lot of women use it...is there a specific benefit in using one? would be interested to know.

I used the cheaper one from Babies R Us after both pregnancies. I did like them and thought they help. I will be buying another one this time around but I haven't decided which one to buy.
I've heard they're supposed to help decrease the swelling of your stomach and it shrinks your waist faster. At least that's what I was told and found it to be true.

Claims range from improving lymphatic drainage and helping with water retention to actually getting your pre-baby body back faster. Also, alleviating cramping and back pain, and allowing your uterus to its return to normal size and location quicker. My mom's family is from South America and my older female relatives who live there swear it is a must. They are in pretty good shape. But none of my friends or people I know has used one after giving birth. I figure it doesn't hurt to try one. But there are so many, I can't decide on one.

I got a gym waist belt and think it is pretty similar to the belly bandit, same concept! It's was $10 and is Velcro and had fit me the last 4 weeks since birth and I think it def helped. I am not in pre-preggo clothes and still have 10lbs to lose but my belly I'd much flatter already!
