are diapers too small?

dd is in newborn diapers, is almost 1 month old, she's lean and has very thin legs....

they seem to have a little bit of a red mark where the elastic part is on the leg....

BUT... 1- shes not leaking the diapers 2- the tabs around her waist almost meet together. Do I move her up? I'm a couple diapers away from opening another package up.


with ds I knew to move up in size when he'd start leaking...

I'd def go up to next size. I never had a prob with leaks, I always changed sizes based on how they fit her. I like her to have extra room

I always bought the next size up when I still had a few of the older size..bec I figured if they weren't ready ... They were eventually going to use them in the near future!

Then if I found they were still too big I would go back down to the older size for a little while longer...
