1st OB Appointment
I had a bfp last week and I will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I called my dr. and tried to make an appointment but the receptionist told me because it is not an emergency they have to call me back which is fine.
Just curious when everyone had their first ob appointment around what week?

I was 8 weeks... that seems the norm unless there were complications in the past.

8weeks for both my girls and this time it just so happened that it was scheduled for a day shy of 9weeks like others said its usually 8weeks unless there's a problem

4 weeks. I called when I got bfp just to make a future appointment and they made it for that same week. Just comfirmed pregnancy, quick internal exam and made appointment for sono.

6 and a half weeks. But my old OB would not see me until you were 8 weeks or later.

I figured for most around 8 weeks because generally you can see a heartbeat at that point, correct?
I feel like I can't help worrying about everything. I can't wait to get a sono so I can see that the baby is in the right position and I can see a heartbeat so I can check those two worries off my list. I am such a worry wart
