is anyone watching 20/20 right now?
they're interviewing the hero nurses who rescued the babies from the NYU NICU when the generator failed. What amazing people!

That is where I will be delivering. I just keeping thanking god that I wasn't in labor or that my baby wasn't in the NICU during this storm.
My hearts go out to these families and all the sick people evacuated really. It's so hard to be in the hospital to begin with and then to have to deal with an evacuation during a storm - I can't even imagine!

Crashing...
As a mom of 2 preemies (twins born at 30 weeks, DS was 3.10 and DD was 2.3 lbs.) I could not help but think of how those poor parents felt. Not only is your child going through hell on a normal day but now you have to put your trust in these nurses that are going to carry your child out of the hospital in their hands?!? I would have been beside myself. God bless those nurses.
