Things people say...
What things have people said to you that have either made you shake your head, gasp in disbelief, resist the urge to punch them in the face, etc
I was told today that my ass is getting big :( seriously, like my self esteem needed this?!?

Things people say...
I have hyperemesis gravidarum and have been told oh it cant be that bad its morning sickness you should be over it already. Really?! I just carry around a zofran pump and have a home nurse bc its just morning sickness.
When I told people at work someone said oh I guessed it you have gained weight in your face. Um no dumba$$ Ive lost 23 pounds and my sunken in cheekbones dont mean I gained weight.

My Grandma asked me how much weight I had gained and when I told her she said "Ooooh Gina, don't you think that is a bit much?? I only weighed 125lbs when I had your uncle and he was a big baby." I reminded her that was back in the 50's when she also smoked a pack a day so I'm not concerned about my weight gain. I was annoyed because it was family and I feel like she should have a little more tact.
Other than that nothing anyone has said has really annoyed me. I think people just want to say SOMETHING and end up putting their foot in their mouth because they think they're being funny.
There is a woman at work who sees me EVERY day and EVERY day she says "LOOK AT YOU!! You're getting SOOO big!!!" And I don't think she says it to be mean, she just wants to say something and we're not close enough to really have a pregnancy related conversation. People have made the "Are you sure it's not twins?!?!" comment to me and people know doctors have that stuff figured out, I just think they think they've come up with some super clever line.

A woman I was ringing up:
witch: when are you due?
me: december 8th
witch: wow are you have twins?
me: nope, just one baby
witch: I guess you just carry large, is the baby really big?
me: nope she is normal size.
She wouldn't stop. It almost made me cry. For the record everyone I know seems to think I look pretty good for someone who is delivering in about 5 weeks. I don think I'm abnormally large...

Really? I would be happy either way. I just want healthy baby. Why is it for my sake? Oh b/c "you can be done having kids"! Really what if I want 15 kids or at least 1 more.
People are so stupid.

Haha!! I got the same this week. They actually told me if the baby was on my ass.
Apparently my ass is bigger than my belly.

Ummm, I'm almost 32 weeks and have put on about 25 pounds.
This is like saying - you were so fat before, I can't even tell.
I am very obviously pregnant, this is not a compliment!!!!

An elderly relative at a wedding last night kept calling me fatty. She literally said, "hey fatty! I want to talk to you, fatty."
Now given she's in her early 90's, so I clearly can't take offense, but still. Being called fatty is not exactly how I envisioned myself preggo!

With DS I got pregnany a month after my wedding, and it wasn't planned. I had several "family" members tell me that I didnt get to enjoy my newlywed stage so we are going to get a divorced.

Things people say...
I've been asked (more than once) if I was having twins. I got asked over the summer when I was due (I'm due in November) and the guy responded "Are you having twins?" When I responded "no" he told I was gonna have a big baby.
I was told I'm carrying big.
My friend asked how much I gained. I gained a lot more than most people (55lbs at 38 weeks) and she told me "Wow, thats gonna be a huge baby".
I got a comment bc I had a starbucks cup (it was decaf)
