Should I just go?
I have a doctor's appt for this evening but there is no answer at the office. The office is in great neck and ive seen a lot of posts about power being down in great neck. I'd hate to waste gas with this new gas shortage in NY and go there just to find out that they are closed.

where in GN? I'm in Manhasset right now and have 2 people around me that live in GN so maybe I can find out if the specific area you're worried about is effected.

I originally thought that also but there are many places in my area that have power and are accepting customers but have no phone service.

I would not go. I had an appt. with my Dr. in setauket today but they were not answering. They have a patchogue office, so I called there, and they took me there. They had no records or anything, but were able to check on the babies. Does your Dr. office have any alternate locations?

Mine is at 1615 northern and no power. I asked someone here and they said NB in that area is out or at least most of it.

I have an appt this morning at 11:30 with Trongone...1615 Northern....they don't need power to do internals on 9 month girls, that's why I'm gonna chance it and go!
