NYC Teachers living on LI
How are you planning on getting into work tomorrow? I'm upset bc I don't have days to waste! But there's no way to get there!

i have heard different things...is it mandatory for teachers to report or did they just request that teachers report??

Mine too.. but I work in Brooklyn and the LIRR in my area is not going to be running. I am going to try my best but I dont know how it will happen. I work in an area with no parking...

There is an appeal rom going around so you won't lose any dys if you can't get there due to Sandy

Yeah I did that today. I tried to walk the three miles to the closest running train. But it was way to dangerous with down tress and no working traffic lights. I turned around.
