Beef Stew Question
Im making beef stew on the stove top, i browned it firs then added the liquids and spices.I just tasted the meat and its tough; will it eventually soften if I cook it on low for a few hours? I used Bottom round this time. I usually use chuck roast but supermarket ran out. Any tips to soften the meat?

Yes, it will soften as you cook it. That is why you cook it so long

lol thanks! I usually used a crock pot or pressure cooker never did it stove top before.
