You can also have your DH take some things home each night when he leaves. Empty the bassinet before you give your baby to the nursery each night and they will refill it for you when they give the baby back in the morning.

I would bring stuff home each day. I did not get any extras. The only things I got were what I took home each day.

DD was in the NICU and aside from a suction bulb, pacifiers (which she didn't even use) and some Vaseline, I got nada. Boooo!

We got lots of stuff! We befriended two nurses and they kept stocking up our bassinet even though it wasn't empty!!! One of them even brought us a garbage bag of wipes and diapers when we left! I had an extra bag but just DH just make a few trips to the car!
